1960. John Androulakis. He became a British soldier and was trained by the SOE. Captured by the Gestapo in 1945 on Crete, he was set free after the Cretan partisans paid for his ransom in gold. He emigrated to the United States, and studied naval engineering.
2004. Rita and Helias Doundoulakis along Salonica's waterfront by the White Tower. After sixty years, the author finally returned.
